McDOWELL Thomas (Tom) Alexander Armstrong – passed away 9th August 2024, peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side. Late of Woodburn Villas, Carrickfergus and formerly of Paisley Road, Carrickfergus.

Loving and devoted husband of Roberta. Much-loved father of Lawrence, Marion, Donna and Thomas. Father-in-law to Marty. Grandfather to Darren (Lauren), Laura (Kez), Corinne, Claire (Declan), Dillon (Shonagh), Lewis (Lauren), Harley and Charles (Paige). Great-grandfather to Conor, Amber, Levi, Lucas, Halle, Robyn, Maisie, Axel, Harvey, Iris, James, Zarah, and number 13 on the way.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Tom’s life will be held in S & J Irvine Funeral Home, 31-35 Irish Quarter South, Carrickfergus, BT38 8BL on Tuesday 13th August at 1.00 p.m. and afterwards to Victoria Cemetery.

Tom will be sorely missed by his wife Roberta, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
