GRIMES Desmond (Dessie), 9th August 2024 peacefully at home in London following a short illness.

Dessie, formerly of Violet Street Waterside, beloved partner of Rhona, precious son of the late Joe & Pauline and loving brother of Brian, Brendan & Niall, nephew of Louis and brother-in-law of Annette, Sadie & Helen, uncle & great-uncle.

Cremation will take place in London on 21st August. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, Derry on Sunday 6th October 2024 at 12.30 pm followed by interment of ashes in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore.
