HILL Derek (Deak), passed away 10th October 2024 in hospital surrounded by his loving family, after a short but fierce battle with cancer. Late of The Milewater, North Queen Street, Belfast.

Beloved husband of Liz, much loved dad of Derek, wife Dorothy and grandchildren Natasha, Jonathan, Alison and Katie. Much loved dad of Jennifer, grandchildren Karlie, Erin and Jade. Much loved dad of the late Richard and grandchildren Michael and David. A dear brother to Harry.

A service of thanksgiving for Derek’s life will be held on Thursday 17th October 2024 in Jennymount Methodist Church, Belfast at 11.45am with committal afterwards in Roselawn Crematorium. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle. After the night the morning, bidding all darkness cease, after life’s trouble and sorrow, the comfort and sweetness of peace.
