We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Barry McCafferty, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by all of his loving family on 9th November 2024. Late of 67 Cromore Gardens and formerly of 20 Nassau Crescent. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Angela. Devoted father of Barry and the late Connor. A much loved father-in-law of Aoife. Loving granda of Maddie and Cían. Dearest son of the late Barry and Lily. A dear son-in-law of the late Paddy and Joyce. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends.

Barry’s remains will be reposing at his late residence, 67 Cromore Gardens. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 11th November at 9:15am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

The wake house will be strictly private this evening. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects tomorrow, Sunday 10th November from 10am until 9pm.
