It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Majella Doherty (née Wedlock), peacefully at The Foyle Hospice on November 14 2024. Late of 140 Pelham Road and formerly of The Church Brae, Fahan. May she rest in peace.

Beloved mother of Declan, Debra and Claire. A much loved mother-in-law of Sheri, Mark and Ryan. Devoted nana of Roishe, Clara, Ayla, Ellie and Noah. Loving daughter of the late Bill and Rosaleen Wedlock. Dearest sister of Margaret. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.

Majella’s remains will be reposing at her late residence, 140 Pelham Road from 1.00pm until 9.00pm today(Friday, November 15) for family and friends to pay their respects. Funeral leaving from there on Saturday, November 16 at 10:20am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in St. Mura’s Church Cemetery, Fahan, Co. Donegal. Wake house will be strictly private from 9.00pm.
