It is with the greatest of regret that we have to inform you of the death of Barney Campbell of 11 Gortin Park, Carnlough, and formerly of Loughgiel. Barney passed away peacefully in hospital surrounded by his loving family on 9th December, 2024. May he rest in peace.

Dearly beloved husband of Maureen and loving father of Catriona (Watson), Sinead (Abram), Mairead (McLaughlin), Grainne, Moira (Rodgers), Patricia (O’ Boyle), Bernard, Damien, Ciaran and Claire (Feeney). Dear father- in-law of Gerard, Diarmuid (Joe), Ciaran, Grainne’s partner Barry, Terry, Neil, Laura, Padrin, Aisling and Brendan. Devoted granda of 27 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Loving brother of John, James, Denis, Margaret, Bridget, Anne, Ellen and the late Willy, Kathleen, Mary and Gracie.

Barney’s funeral will leave his late residence on Wednesday 11th December at 11.20am to St John the Evangelist Church for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, family and family circle. St. Anthony pray for him. Family flowers only please donations in lieu to A1 Respiratory Ward, Antrim area Hospital.
