McSHANE Hugh (Portadown) January 12, 2025, (peacefully) at Craigavon Area Hospital surrounded by his loving family, late of Ballynery North Road. Hugh, beloved husband of Anna and a loving father of Sean, Anita, Fiona, Ronan, Garrett and the late Gavan who died in infancy, a dear father-in-law to Sinead, Stephen and the late Paul and a cherished grandfather and great grandfather, loving son of the late Patrick and Sarah-Jane McShane, a devoted brother to Jack and the late Jim, Mary, Malachy and Jean and brother-in-law to Pam.

Hugh will repose at McAlinden & Murtagh’s Funeral Home, 43 Ardmore Road, Lurgan, BT66 6QP today (Monday) from 4.00 pm until 8.00 pm and on Tuesday from 2.00 pm until 5.00pm. Family and friends are welcome to call and pay their respects. His remains will leave the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 5.45 pm travelling via Ballynery North Road, to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Derrymacash at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10.00am with burial afterwards in the cemetery adjoining the church. The family home is strictly private.

Always loved and remembered by his sorrowing family and the entire family circle.
