McCAFFERTY Lewis, 16th January 2025 peacefully at the Foyle Hospice after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, loving husband of Christine, much-loved father of Áine, father-in-law of Paul, devoted Papa of Sarah and Rónán and dear brother of Brian, Kathleen and the late Charlie, Liam, Michael, John, Raymond, Pamela and Isobel.

His remains will be reposing in his home, 5 Ardcaien, Culmore Road, on Friday from 5 – 9 pm and on Saturday from 2 – 9 pm. Funeral from there on Sunday at 10.30 am for 11 o’clock funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in Ballyoan cemetery.
