The peaceful death has taken place of Gloria Breslin (née Sweeney), on Saturday, February 22 2025, at Altnagelvin Hospital, late of 35 Troy Park, Culmore Road, Derry BT48 7RL and formerly from Ballymaleel P.O, Letterkenny and Quigley’s Point.

Deeply missed by her loving sons Aidan (Valerie) and Cathal (Sabrina), daughters Carla and Leona (Brendan), nine grandchildren, sisters Mary O’Donnell, Kathleen Ponsonby and Margaret Toner (Letterkenny), brothers John, Noel and Eamonn (Ballymaleel), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Gloria is predeceased by her husband Liam (2009), brother Georgie and parents Susan and William. Rest in Peace.

Gloria’s remains will repose at her late residence on Tuesday and Wednesday (2.00pm to 9.00pm) with Rosary both nights at 8pm. All are welcome. Funeral will take place leaving her home at 9.30pm on Thursday, February 27 for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn at 10.00am. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Foyle Hospice c/o any family member.
