We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of William James McColgan, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Februray 24 2025, may he rest in peace. Late of 28 Fanad Drive, Creggan, Derry. Beloved husband of Marie. Loving father of Stephen, Kevin, Paul, Sean, Theresa, Rachel and the late infant Liam R.I.P. Son of the late John and Ethna McColgan and dear brother of Bosco, Michael, Martin, Rosaleen, Lena, Sadie(Sarah) and the late Dolie, Bridie, Annie, Geraldine and Charlie R.I.P.

Reposing at his late home. Wake will commence Wednesday (February 26) at 11.00am – 10.00pm and Thursday (February 27) 11.00am to 10.00pm. Funeral from his late home on Friday, February 28 2025 leaving at 9.30am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, Creggan. Requiem Mass can be viewed via the church webcam. Interment immediately afterwards in City Cemetery, Derry.
