Betty was indeed a force of nature,small in stature but big on personality.I like many others spent a great deal of time with her,while she tried to help me deal with my depression,and fibromyalgia.When I travelled alone to Greece,I returned with a post card of St Paul's Bay,Lindos.This card I would see pinned up,when we would go down to her special room,where she would make up the most amazing creams.Her favourite vitrever, on first smelling it I referred to it as ( burnt sticks) but like Betty I grew to love it.Both mum Betty and I had many,many happy times together.I am not sure if she realised her impact on us all,certainly her impact on me was and will be unforgettable.Shes gone home now to Victor,together again to go travelling,and to continue her journey,having left us to remember her with fondness and love,and we smile when we think of her,our friend,the little lady,in the white jacket,with slingback shoes,and bare legs,like a little rocket,goodbye dear friend thanks for the memories as you always said" take good care" love elainex
