CUSH Gerard, March 29, 2025 died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness borne with great courage and humour. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle, comrade and friend to many. St Pio pray for him. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Máire.

There will be a short wreath laying ceremony in his honour in the Greater Ballymurphy Memorial Garden at 7pm on Wednesday 02nd April which everyone is most welcome to attend.

He will then leave his home, 53 Ballymurphy Road on Thursday 03rd April at 9.30am for funeral mass at 10am in Corpus Christi Chapel followed by his burial in Milltown Cemetery. We will then have a celebration of his life in The O’Ds on the Whiterock Road.
