It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosaleen McCloskey née Doherty, peacefully at home on 5th May 2025. Late of 80 Rosskeen Pk and formerly of 10 Malin Gardens. May she rest in peace.

Beloved mother of Joseph, Lisa, Nicola and the late Stephen and Lorraine. A much loved mother-in-law of Sinead. Loving granny and great-granny to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rosaleen’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 80 Rosskeen Pk, from 1pm this afternoon, Tuesday 6th May. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday 8th May at 10:20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
