O’KANE (née Byrne) Margaret (Peggy), passed away peacefully at Ashwood Nursing Home, May 27, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Hugh, much loved mother to Geraldine, son-in-law Jeff, and cherished granny to Justin (Rachael) and Michael (Shayna). She will be sadly missed by her entire family and friends.

Margaret will be reposing at her niece’s residence, 2 Thorburn Road. Her remains will arrive at St Mary’s Church, Greencastle at 6.00pm on today Thursday May 29th. Requiem Mass will take place on tomorrow Friday May 30th at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Enquiries to O’Kanes Funeral Directors
