McCAULEY (née McEvoy) Angela Petronella, died peacefully in the arms of her husband Brendan, at the Ulster Hospital after midnight on 7th of June 2025. Angela and Brendan were teenage sweethearts. They were married 54 years. Their fourteen children, Shann, Brendan, Nora, Aaron, Mary, Hannah, Ruth, John, Patrick, David, Jacob, Isaac, Abraham and Angela were all at their Mum’s bedside.

Angela was a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, teacher, author, healer and evangelist. Angela was a great friend to many. She was the sixth child of the late John and Winnie Mc Evoy of Dunmore, Ballynahinch and sister of the late Patrick, Maureen, Una, Kathleen, Rosaleen, Gerard, Carol, Deirdre and Eileen.

Angela is survived by her loving husband, 14 children, 29 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild & her cherished sons & daughters in-law.

Angela will be waked at her home, 59 Haypark Avenue, Ormeau, Belfast BT7 3FE. The family extend a warm welcome to visit on Sunday 8th June from 4pm to 9pm and Monday 9th June from 12 noon to 7pm.

Angela’s body will be removed from her home on Tuesday 10th June at 10:15am for Requiem Mass in Good Shepherd Church, 503 Ormeau Rd, Belfast at 11am. Mass can be viewed live via www.holyrosaryparishbelfast.net. Burial will follow at St Patrick’s Church Cemetery, Ballyphilip Rd, Portaferry, BT22 1RD.

Mourners are warmly invited to celebrate Angela’s life with her family at Ormeau Golf Club, 50 Park Road, Belfast, BT7 2FX. Food and refreshments are provided from 3pm onwards.
