Clodagh and Jarelth, and the entire Feenan family would like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised with us, on the very sad loss of a much loved Daddy, Grandpa, Brother, Brother in law, Friend and Uncle.
Grateful thanks to the rev. Fr. Aidan Brankin P.P. FR. Toland and Deacon Jackie Breen for their support and prayers throughout the wake and the beautiful requiem mass. To Finbarr Keaveney, for the beautiful singing and music.
Heartfelt thanks to Jane Creaney, and colleagues, at stream-street surgery. Special thanks to Down Community Care, who offered great kindness and care to Maurice, throughout this last four years.
Thank you to everyone who travelled, sent mass and sympathy cards, visited the house, telephoned, messaged, attended the funeral and donated to heart chest and stroke.
We are so grateful to Richard McGreevy butchers and cafe, The Oakley Faye, our neighbours, those who brought food, served refreshments throughout the wake, and Murphy’s Bar and Restaurant for the food served after the funeral. Sincere thanks to Patsy Fitzsimons, and staff at Down Funeral Directors for there professional, dignified, and personal way they carried out the funeral.
Maurice’s month mind mass will be held in St Patrick’s church, Saul. On Sunday 6th of July at 9:30am

FEENAN Maurice, 68 Colmcille Road, Downpatrick died suddenly Sunday 8 June at home. Dearly beloved husband of the late Helen, loving father of Clodagh and Jarleth, devoted grandfather of Caitlin, Adam, Noah, Bonnie, Lucy and Blossom, and cherished brother of Kieran, Damien, Elsie, Maria and the late Sean and Mary.

Maurice is reposing at his residence until 10.15am on Wednesday 11 June when he will leave for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Saul, with interment following in Struell Cemetery.

Interment arrangements to follow.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing children, their spouses, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and large circle of family and friends. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
