James (Jimmy) Murdock M.B.E. died on Tuesday January 19th 2021, late of Seaview Terrace, Holywood.

A devoted husband, loving father and father-in-law, and wonderful Grandad/ Papy, brother, brother-in-law and uncle, who will always be remembered with love and appreciation.

James was cremated on the 27th January 2021 following an informal private family service at his own request.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to John Gray and Co Funeral Directors; Burns Pharmacy; Ward 3b at the Ulster Hospital Dundonald; the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service; and Brook Street Surgery for their care and attentiveness.

The family would also like to express how deeply honoured they feel because of the genuine outpouring of affection, admiration and respect from Jimmy’s former work colleagues and friends.

Once lockdown is over, the family will hold a memorial event once it is safe and appropriate to do so.
