John McAteer died on January 28th 2021. Peacefully at The Mater Hospital, Belfast.  (Newry)

John, dearly beloved husband of Irene, cherished father of Fiona, Shane and Philip and loving brother of Rosaleen, Eileen, Bridie the late Nanny, Jim and Rita. May his soul Rest In Peace.

Due to government restrictions John’s wake and funeral will be strictly private for family only. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm in SS Patrick & Colman’s Cathedral. Those who may have wished to attend can watch live on webcam, on the link below.

On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his dearest wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law Sean, his devoted grandchildren, sisters, nephews, nieces, his entire family circle and many friends.
