DOHERTY Hugh Joseph (Josie) Peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 24th June 2025. Late of 21 Glenview Avenue. May he rest in peace. Beloved son of the late Barney and Molly. Devoted brother of the late Pat. Dearest cousin of Don, Tye, Harry, Nellie and Jimmy. A much loved cousin of the McGurk and Doherty families. A dear friend of Eugene Kelly. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Josie’s remains will be reposing at his niece June’s home, 36 Ballymagowan Gardens from 5pm this afternoon, Wednesday 25th June. Funeral leaving from there on Friday 27th June at 9:15am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Eugene’s Cathedral. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
