The death has taken place of Violet Gault (née McGonagle), June 28 2025, Peacefully at Foyle Hospice (surrounded by her loving family after a long illness courageously borne) much-loved wife of John, devoted mother of David and Rhonda, loving mother-in-law of Lisa and Laurie, adored granny of Adam and Charlie, dearest sister of Robert, Anne, Sam and the late James.

Service of Thanksgiving in her late home, 2 Broomhill Court, Limavady Road, on Tuesday, July 1 at 1.00pm followed by burial in Glendermott Presbyterian Church burial ground. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Foyle Hospice: c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BGT47 3QQ. Everyone is welcome to call a the family home and pay their respects to Violet on Sunday and Monday from 11.00am until 9.00pm.
