EASTWOOD Phonsie (Alphonsus) (10 Burnbrae, Cookstown BT80 8DN) peacefully surrounded by his loving family, July 9, 2025 (R.I.P). Beloved husband of Anna. Cherished father of Caroline (Conway) and Gerard, father-in-law of Austin and Mairead. Grandfather of Maria, Michelle, Charlotte, Michael, Garret, Matthew, Sian and the late Justine (R.I.P). Great grandfather of Sheá, Cónagh, Naoise, Fíadh, Aodhán, Tádgh, Rúarc, Rían, Faela, Conn and Robyn. Dear brother of Nel (Murphy), Gerry and the late Phil (Doherty), Patrick, Chrissy (Culkin), Tom and Mary (Walsh) (R.I.P). Son of the late Thomas Joseph (M.R.C.V.S.) and Elizabeth (R.I.P.). St Padre Pio pray for him.

Phonsie’s remains will repose at his family home for a wake today Thursday (July 10th) from 12noon to 8.00pm. Funeral from there on tomorrow Friday (July 11th) at 10.45am going to Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Cookstown, for 11.30am Requiem Mass, followed by burial afterwards in Forthill Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired directly to Dementia NI. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, daughter, son, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours, friends and his wider family circle.
