15th July 2025 peacefully and surrounded by love, in his 86th year, beloved husband of Mary (nee O’Hara), Tamworth Crescent, Kilfennan, devoted daddy of Caroline, John, Brenda, Maria and the late and sorely missed Sharon. Fond father-in-law of Paul and the late Peter and much loved granda of Lorna, Siobhan, Nadine, Ella, Aiden, Keevan, Shannon and Shea, dear brother of Rosaleen, Lena, Sadie, Martin and Michael and the late Dolie, Ann, Bridie, Geraldine, Charlie and Willie and cherished uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

His remains will be reposing in his daughter’s home, 18 Lisdale Park, Maydown, from 2 pm on Wednesday. Funeral from there on Friday at 9.20 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Family time from 10 pm to 12 noon.
