We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Michael Francis McCloskey, 1934-2025. Late of 33 Gortnagross Road, Derryork, Dungiven BT47 4QP. Died peacefully in Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by his loving family on the 16th of July 2025. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Anne (McBride). Treasured father of Martina, Ambrose and Joanne (Convery) and a much loved father-in-law of Aine and Tony. Devoted grandfather of Ciara, Michael, Bronagh, Annie and Sarah. Dear brother of Susan (McKenna), and Sally (Hanger) and the late Johnny, Eugene and infant Gerald R.I.P. Very deeply regretted by the entire family circle.

Wake will commence tomorrow (Friday) 18th July at 11am. Friends and family will be welcome to pay their respects on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th from 11am to 11pm.

Funeral from his home on Sunday 20th July at 9.30am for Requiem mass in St Matthew’s Church Drumsurn at 10.15am followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
