The family of Aaron Moffett wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who have reached out during this difficult time. We all have been bowled over by the outpour of love and support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every message, card, text, meal, care package, donation and memory shared.
To Julie Smyth and her mum for their selfless compassion and immediate care of Aaron being first on the scene, along with the NI Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Air Ambulance for their quick response and critical, life saving efforts in caring for Aaron.
To Milne’s Funeral Service for their professionalism, dignified manner and care, and support in guiding us through the last few months.
A word of thanks to Rev. Ian McGrath for leading such a touching service, bringing comfort in the most difficult of situations and assisting us in making the whole process a fitting tribute to our kindest soul.
To the ladies of the church who organised and served the refreshments at the church. Mr M Pickering for the use of fields for overflow parking and Mr R Oliver for providing the sound system. Thank you all for helping to ensure the service ran smoothly and enabling the incredible crowd outside to fully be part of the service.
To Becci, Michael and all the staff at McConvilles for facilitating such a fitting send off.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the ICU staff , Royal Victoria for their professionalism, care and unwavering dedication. We are forever grateful for your tireless efforts, compassion and immeasurable support.
The Football Community far and wide for your overwhelming amount of dedications and tributes on and off the pitch to Aaron. Every single one has been truly touching and appreciated, thank you.
To our friends and loved ones, It goes without saying that words will never be able to express our thanks for being our rocks and gathering around us to protect, comfort and share in our memories.

MOFFETT Aaron Samuel – 1st August 2025 went to sleep one last time surrounded by his loving family, late of Armagh Road, Portadown.

Darling husband of Lindsey, devoted son of John and Florence, loving brother of Hannah, dear son in law of Philip and Jennifer, cherished brother in law of Ashley, Chris and Vicky and also incredibly loved uncle of Bodhi, Sonny, Carson and Arthur.

House strictly private. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so as the Funeral Cortege leaves Aaron’s late home, Armagh Road, Portadown on Wednesday at 12.45pm.

Funeral service on Wednesday at 2pm in Knocknamuckley Parish Church followed by a private committal.
