It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Hooper, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 7th August 2025. Late of 4 Altnafoyle. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Frances (née Loughrey). Much loved father of Glenn, Pauline and Nigel. A dearly loved grandfather and great-grandfather to all of his grandchildren. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Dennis’ remains will be reposing at his late home 4 Altnafoyle tomorrow, Friday 8th August with visitors welcome between 12 noon and 9 p.m.

Funeral leaving from there on Saturday afternoon 8th August at 12:30pm for 1pm Requiem Mass in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
