Jack MURRAY

Date of Death: Sunday 10th August 2025 Town: Maghera
Date of Death: Sunday 10th August 2025

We, the family of the late Jack Murray, would like to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us and offered support during our recent bereavement.
We would especially like to thank our extended family, neighbours and friends who supported us throughout and the large numbers who attended the wake and funeral.
Thank you to all our neighbours and friends who co-ordinated the car parking and transport to the house during the wake.

Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, messages of condolence posted online and to those who travelled long distances to be with us.

A special word of thanks to Fr Paddy Doherty, Fr Kieran O’Doherty and Fr Peter Madden for their spiritual guidance and for the very fitting and personal Requiem Mass.

We are grateful to the O’Kane family for the beautiful music which really enhanced the ceremony.
We extend our thanks also to the Emergency Services for their rapid response and efforts with Jack.

Our sincere gratitude goes to Michael and Nicholas from J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera and Coleraine for their empathy, compassion and professional service.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment serves as a token of our appreciation for the kindness and comfort received during our bereavement.

Jack was full of love, laughter and kindness, a bright light in the darkness. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. A much-loved son, brother, grandson, partner and friend who will remain forever in our hearts.

Jack’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Glen, on Friday 19th September 2025 at 7:30pm.
