Mary McGREEVY (née McKeating)

The family of the late Mary McGreevy wish to pass on their sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who supported them when they lost their much loved Mary. Thank you to those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of condolences, who called at the funeral home and attended Mary’s funeral.
It helped them a great deal.
Thankyou to Fr. Aidan Brankin for his much needed support and for officiating a beautiful Mass. Thanks also to Bernie and Matthew Campbell for their wonderful accompanying music.
The prayers and spiritual care given by Fr. Eugene O’Neill and Deacon Jackie Breen to Mary and her family were very much appreciated.
The family especially want to thank the fantastic staff of Strangford Court Nursing Home who cared for Mary with such kindness and dignity. Thank you also to Dr Creaney for her unwavering care and attention.

McGREEVY (née McKeating) Mary (Saul) Died peacefully at Strangford Court on 22nd August 2025. Devoted wife of Danny, loving mother to Lisa and Linda. Cherished Nana to Matthew, Méabh and Ellen. Great nana to Lorcán. Dear sister of Maureen, the late Kathleen, Patsy, Anne, Nora, Angela and Rosaleen. Much loved mother in law to Mick.
Mary is reposing in the chapel of rest at Down Funeral Directors, 26 John Street, Downpatrick, BT30 6BY with the family in attendance today Saturday 23rd August from 6-9 pm and tomorrow Sunday 24th August from 2-9 pm. Mary will leave the funeral home at 9.15am on Monday 25th August for 10am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Saul followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers to Dementia NI. Saint Padre Pio pray for her.
