BROWNE Alex (Portaferry) Died 2nd September 2025, peacefully at his home. Alex, devoted husband of Liz, dearly loved father of Joanne, Andrew and Ian, dear father-in-law of Trevor, Mary and Kathryn, much loved grandfather of Adam & Ciara, Lauren, Rory, Jessica, Isabelle, Zoë and Ada, great-grandfather of Alexander and dear brother of Lou, Ralland and the late Mark and Aileen.

Alex’s remains will be reposing in John Smith Funeral Home on Thursday 4th September 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. Family Home private please.

Funeral Service in The Portico on Friday 5th September at 11am followed by burial in Ballyphilip Parish Cemetery.
