MAGUIRE (nee Rocks) Betty (Newry) September 8, 2025, at her home, late of 7 Carrive Crescent, Carrivemaclone, Newry, surrounded by her loving family.

Betty, beloved wife of the late Oliver, much loved mother of Clare (Damien), Theresa (Declan), Kathleen (Colm), Oliver (Catriona), Gerard, Paul (Shonagh), Niall, and Michael (Danielle); devoted nanny to Jack, Stephen, Aimee, Charlie, David, Caitlín, Rebecca, Kevin, Sinead, Laura, Rachel, Ashlín, Brennagh, Caolán, Hollie, Eva, Callan, Meghan, Sophie, Mia and Oliver and great-nanny to Bonnie, dear sister to Brian and Margaret, predeceased by her parents Sean and Marjorie, her brothers Owenie and Jimmy and her sister Kathleen.

Betty’s remains will repose at her home from 6pm this evening (Monday 8th September) until removal on Wednesday morning (10th September) at 10.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloughoge. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Very deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchild, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and cousins. May she rest in peace.
