It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Sarah Barbour née Canning, peacefully at The Causeway Hospital on 9th September 2025. Late of 13 Ballymore Park. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of the late Hugh. Devoted mother of Hugh, Johnny, Pius, Sindy, Catherine, David and the late Francis (Twinkle). A much loved grandmother and great-grandmother to all of her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Sarah’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 13 Ballymore Park from 8:30pm this evening, Tuesday 9th September. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday 11th September at 11:20am for 12pm Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
