We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Brendan McManus peacefully at home on the 10th of September 2025 surrounded by his loving family, may he rest in peace. Late of 14 Beech Road, Gortnaghey, Dungiven, Co Derry.

Devoted husband of the late Celine (née McHenry) and loving father of Brona McSorley (Gary R.I.P), Rossa McManus (Angela) and Siobhán Sheppard (Christopher).

A much loved grandfather of Brógan, Cara, Áine, Hannah, Eilis, Eva, Elana and great grandfather of Mollie. Son of the late Dan and Kate McManus R.I.P and dear brother of Lawrence, Kevin and the late Joseph, Danny, Malachy and Annie R.I.P. Deeply regretted by entire family circle.

Reposing at his late home 14 Beech Road, Gortnaghey, Dungiven, Co Derry. Brendan’s wake will commence at 6pm today Thursday (11th) Family time from 10pm – 11am and private on the morning of funeral.

Funeral on Saturday 13th of September 2025, leaving at 09.15am for 10am Requiem Mass in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Gortnaghey. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will be recorded and available for viewing after the funeral via the link below.
