McCARTAN Peter (Gilford) died peacefully 25th September 2025 at Bannview Care Home surrounded by his loving family. Peter R.I.P. Much loved husband of Jean, loving father of Michelle, Shauna, Kathleen & the late Gary & Jane. Father in law of Paul (McStraw), Paul (Molloy) & Dougie. Beloved Granda of Gary, the late Conor, Brandon, Ethan, Shay, Dylan, Ryan, Ellen, Keelan & Nathan, great grandfather of Libby-Jane. Brother of the late Peggy, Sean & Denis. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

His remains will repose at his home until removal on Saturday at 10.30am for 11.00am Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Gilford, burial afterwards in Ss. Patrick & Colman’s Cemetery, Laurencetown. FAMILY HOME STRICTLY PRIVATE.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, daughters, sons in law, grandchildren, great granddaughter, nephews, nieces, cousins, family circle & friends.
