HIGGINS (née Black) Beatrice R.I.P. (Ballycastle). Died 28th September 2025. Suddenly R.I.P. late of 20 Moyle Park, Ballycastle. Beloved wife of the late Dan, loving mother of Leona (McKiernan), Shauna (O’Neill), Bronagh (Quinn), Edmund, James and Danielle (O’Neill) dear mother-in-law of Pat, Damian, James, Laura and Bryan and a much-adored Nana of Aoibh, Eimear, Eoghan, Feargal, Conn, Aoibhinn, Eleanor, Dan, Eliza, Bronagh, Orlaith and Meabh. Daughter of the late Edmund & Eileen Black and dear sister of the late Fr. Julian, Edmund and Nuala (Doherty).

Funeral from her late residence, 20 Moyle Park, on Friday 3rd October 2025 at 9:20am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s & St. Brigid’s Church, Ballycastle. (Mass will be broadcast live on the parish website https://mcn.live/Camera/st-patricks-and-st-brigids-church). Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply missed by the entire Higgins & Black family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
