We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of John McLaughlin peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on 29th September 2025. May he rest in peace. Late of 240 Foreglen Road, Co Derry, BT47 4EE.

Beloved husband of Monica (née Heaney) Loving father of Shane (Martina), Kevin (Adel), Martin (Fionnuala), Leanne Kerlin (Shane) and Ciara Donaghy (Adrian) Devoted grandfather of Michael and the late baby Joseph, Kian, Nicole, Cara, Emma, Fionn, Kate, Tadhg, Nathan, Lucas, Conrad, Thomas and Shania. Great grandfather of Donnacha. Son of the late Bernard and Bridget-Jane R.I.P and dear brother of Patsy and the late Mary, Margaret , Patricia, Jimmy and his late infant twin Michael R.I.P. Very deeply regretted by the entire family circle.

Reposing at his late home. 𝐖𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟐𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧. Funeral on Friday 3rd October 2025 leaving his late home at 10.10am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Foreglen. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Saint Joseph patron saint of the departed souls pray for him. Saint Padre Pio intercede for us.
