We regret to inform you of the passing away of the late John O’Brien RIP, 39 Acorn Hill,

High St, Bessbrook, Co Armagh. Passed away peacefully at home, 3rd October 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly beloved husband of the late Linda RIP, loving father to Kerry, Wayne, Michael, Lee and Sean, cherished grandfather to Finn, Lennon and Paige, dearest brother to Richard, Pat, Jim, Tim, Tom, Bridget, Nora, Mary, Margaret, Eileen and Hannah, cherished son of Richard and Esther and a much loved uncle, brother-in-law and friend.

John’s remains will repose in Mallon’s Funeral Home Mill Road, Bessbrook BT35 7DT, from 5pm-7pm Saturday and 1-3pm & 5-7pm Sunday. Funeral leaving his late residence at 9:30am Monday for 10:30qm Requiem Mass in St Malachy’s Church, Carrickcruppen.

Cremation following in Dardistown Crematorium, Santry.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family circle both at home in Ireland and Yorkshire, neighbours and many friends.
