It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernadette Healy née McDonagh, suddenly at her home on 6th October 2025. Late of 2b Greenhaw Rd and formerly of 108 Lecky Rd. May she rest in peace.
A dear mother of Terence, Dermot and Kevin. Loving granny of Eoin, Aoife, Ben and Emily. Beloved daughter of the late Jim and Susan. A much loved sister of Harriet, Mary, Paddy, Veronica, Betty, Geraldine, Caroline and the late Jim and Theresa. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.
Bernadette’s remains will be reposing at her sister Caroline’s residence, 106 Ballyarnett Rd, Belmont from 7pm this evening, Wednesday 8th October. Funeral leaving from there on Friday 10th October at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
