We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Bridget Hassan née McLaughlin (Roe) formerly of Kilgort, Park, Co Derry peacefully at home – 43 Glenedra Road, Coolnamonan, Feeny, Co Derry surrounded by her loving family on the 21st of October 2025. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of the late Pat Hassan RIP and loving mother of Gretta, Martin, Michael, Mamie, Stephen and the late Alice RIP. Devoted granny to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister of Lizzie and the late John, Pat, Cassie, Mary, Jimmy, Mickey, Barney, Hughie, Susan and Charlie R.I.P. Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister and the entire family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

You are welcome to pay respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven BT47 4NQ) today Wednesday 22nd from 4pm to 6pm. Leaving the funeral home at 6pm to respose at her late home. Wake at her late home on Thursday 23rd of October from 11 o’clock.

Funeral from her late home on Friday 24th of October 2025 leaving at 11.20am for 12noon Requiem Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, Banagher. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed via the church webcam.
