It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Emma, who left us far too soon at the age of 41. After a courageous battle, she found peace surrounded by the love of her family.

Emma was a devoted wife to Michael, loving mother to Cara and Shea. Daughter to Mary and Paddy. Twin sister to Mark, sister-in-law to Carmel, sister to Robert. Godmother to Senan. Granddaughter to Breda Boylan. Daughter-in-law to Michael and Marie Leonard, sister-in-law to Elaine, Linda, Barry, Gerard, a treasured aunt and niece, and all the extended Byrne, Leonard and Boylan families and a friend to so many. Her warmth, laughter, and kindness touched everyone she met. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she brightened.

Emma will repose at her home (A92 HEK0) on Monday from 2pm until 7pm and on Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Emma’s life will be held on Wednesday morning at 11am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tenure, Co Louth which can be viewed live at – www.churchservices.tv/monasterboice

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Palliative Care, Dochas Centre, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, in her memory, so her light may continue to shine through acts of kindness and hope. Her love endures in every heart she touched.
