The death has occurred of Eugene (The Thick) McLoughlin, Rathmullen Park, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Marian Park, Drogheda. 26th October 2025. Unexpectedly at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Marie and his brother Jim. Beloved husband of Lorraine and loving dad to Lindsay, Janine, Craig and Kieran. Eugene will be sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughters, sons-in-law Hugo and James, Craig’s partner Melissa and Kieran’s partner Modesta, his 10 grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. May Eugene Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda A92 XN75 on Friday evening from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on Saturday in Church of The Assumption, Tullyallen and can be viewed live at https://www.facebook.com/Mellifont-Parish-Tullyallen-155876877777742/ with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
