The death has occurred of the late Samuel (Sammy) Canning, November 3 2025, peacefully at home, 1 Abbots Walk. Beloved husband of Alice. Loving father of Don, Alison, Robert, Sammy, Rory and Shane. Much loved grandfather of Caolan, Ben, Aaron, Emy, Dillon and Faela.

Sammy will be reposing at his family home. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.20am to St Columba’s church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
