TOLAND Jim, passed away peacefully on 11th November 2025 at Altnagelvin hospital. Jim was the beloved partner of the late Stella Makowski, loving father of Laura, much loved grandfather of Jamie- Louise and Ronan, stepfather of Sean and Niamh, dear son of the late Stylie and Bridget, cherished brother of Sadie, Hugh, Ellen, Majella, Michael, Kevin and Catriona and beloved brother-in-law of Bernie, Jay, Pat, Kerry and the late Raymond.

Jim will be reposing at his brother Hugh’s home at 20 Strangford Park, Derry BT48 0JW from 11am until 10pm on Thursday and Friday. The funeral will leave from there on Saturday at 9.15am for requiem mass at 10am in St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower. Interment afterwards in the city cemetery.

Jim will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone who knew him. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.
