O’LOUGHLIN (nee Devine) Irene (Newry) November 24, 2025, (peacefully) at Carlingford Lodge Care Home. Irene, dearly beloved wife of the late Pat, cherished mother of John and Desmond, much loved mother-in-law of Elaine and devoted grandmother of Niamh and Rory and great-grandmother of James and Rose. May she Rest In Peace.

Irene’s remains will repose at her late residence, 47 Carnagh Park, Newry on Tuesday from 10am – 10pm. Funeral will arrive at St Mary’s Church, Chapel Street on Wednesday for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Irene loved bright colours, and in honour of her memory, the family kindly asks that those attending her funeral wear bright colours.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken sons, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Niamh’s husband Nathaniel, Rory’s wife Marie and the entire family circle.
