We the family of the late Grainne Carberry would like to express our sincere gratitude and deep appreciation to all those who sympathised and supported us in our recent sad, sudden bereavement. Our much loved wife, mummy, granny, mother-in-law, sister, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt and dear friend.

We express thanks to all those who called at the family home to pay respects throughout the wake, attended the funeral, telephoned, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers and messages online. We are truly grateful.

Thank you to the staff at Stansted airport, Essex police, Essex and Herts air ambulance and all the medical staff who provided emergency care to Grainne.

We extend our gratitude to The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust who brought Grainne home. To Quinn Bros. Funeral services for the dignified and professional manner shown to Grainne and her family.

Thank you to all our relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who helped us in so many ways.

Our heartfelt thanks to all this who brought food, provided refreshments and assisted in any way throughout the wake. We will be forever indebted for all your kindness and generosity.

Sincere thanks to Jane and Paul Dillon for the marquee and to Coalisland Fianna for the loan of equipment. To Gervin’s bar and restaurant for providing the beautiful food after the funeral. Thank you.

A special word of thanks to Father Eugene for the beautiful Mass and thank you to everyone who participated in the Mass including readers, Eucharistic ministers, sacristan and all those who attended the service and watched online.

Special thank you to Ellie O’Neill and Eamon McGarrity for the beautiful singing and music.

Thank you to Father Brian Slater and Canon Fee for calling to the wake and assisting in Grainne’s funeral Mass and to Gary Harte for preparing Grainne’s final resting place.

To the staff and pupils of St Joseph’s college Coalisland, St Patrick’s Primary Dungannon and Primate Dixon for your support and the respectful guard of honour.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere gratitude.

CARBERRY (née McCann) Grainne (Coalisland) November 29th 2025.

Grainne R.I.P., 1 Gortgonis Villas, beloved wife of Gerard, dearly loved mother of Eoghan (Jayne) and Niamh (Fionntan), loving granny of Páidí, Gracie and the late baby Pippa, much loved daughter of the late Elizabeth and Eugene and dear sister of Seadhna, Mairead and Eugena.

Grainne will repose at her home this evening (Wednesday) from 7.00pm. Funeral on Friday from her home at 9.10am to SS Mary & Joseph’s Church, Brackaville for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband, daughter, son, family circle and friends.
