McGOWAN (née Doherty) Rose Teresa (Roisin) 1st December 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at Seven Oaks, Care Home, (formerly of Bishop Street and Barrack Street) Beloved wife of the late Eddie, loving mother of Moia, John, Eamonn and Roisin, dear mother-in-law to Raymond, Stephen, Bridgeen and Deborah and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, dear daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Doherty, cherished sister of the late Phyllis, Moya, Liam, Seamus, Sean, John-Francis and Mary Bridget and a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.

Roisin will be reposing at her daughter Moia’s home 71 Elmvale, Culmore, on Tuesday 2nd. December from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral leaving 71 Elmvale on Thursday 4th. December at 11:20 a.m. to St. Columba’s Church, Long Tower for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
