SIMMS (nee Cloherty) Betty, 5th December 2025, peacefully at Longfield Care Home (formerly of Carnhill and Buncrana) beloved wife of the late Willie, loving mother of Bernard, Tanya and Peter, cherished grandmoher of Nicole, Beth, Ryan, Abbi, Ben, Adam, Maggie and Peter, great-grandmother of Cian, much loved daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth and dear sister of Una, Rita, Kathleen, Helen, Gloria and Peter. Deeply regretted by all her extended family and friends.

Betty’s remains will be reposing in her son’s home, 18 Knockalla Park, from 5 pm on Friday. Funeral from there on Monday for 9.30 am Requiem Mass in St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Cockhill, Buncrana. Family time please from 10 pm to 12 noon.
