ROONEY (née Bell) Maureen (Downpatrick) December 5, 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of the late James (Jimmy), and much loved mother of Berni, Paul, Kate and Milly, mother-in-law of James, Jenny and the late Arthur and Mike, a loving grandmother, great grandmother, sister-in-law and aunt. May she rest in peace.

Requiem Mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick on tomorrow Tuesday December 9th at 11.30am. Interment afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Killough Road. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at her late family home, 7 Benderg Avenue, Downpatrick BT30 6RS, on today Monday December 8th from 2.00pm – 7.00pm. House Private on morning of the funeral please.
