SEGAL Raymond – With regret and great sadness, the family of Raymond Segal is announcing his passing on Monday 8 December, aged 89. A husband, father, a witty and entertaining raconteur, successful lawyer, charity supporter, keen gardener, a fine neighbour, a “real gentleman” and said by so many to be “a lovely wee man” (or “wee dote”, as they say in Northern Ireland), he passed away with family beside him after a sudden illness.

His funeral is to take place at Roselawn Crematorium, Belfast, at 1:20pm on Monday 5 January 2026. Private family burial will be held at a later date.

His passing comes 22 months after the death of his beloved wife Cynthia in February 2024.
