MURPHY (née Heaney) Jean, peacefully at Cornfield Nursing Home on the 15th of December 2025, may she rest in peace. Formerly of 46 Magheramore Road, Teavin, Dungiven, Co Derry.

Beloved wife of the late William James RIP. Daughter of the late Patrick and Jane RIP and dear sister of the late Pat (Susan), Arthur, Mickey, Johnny Bridget and Andy RIP.

Loving aunt of Mickey, Pat, Ann, Susan, Sharon, Maggie and Geraldine.

Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, cousins and the entire Murphy and Heaney family circles.

Reposing at her nephew Mickey Heaney’s home – 32 Banagher Road, Dungiven, BT47 4TX wake will commence today Tuesday (16th)at 4pm. Family time from 10pm to 11am. Funeral on Thursday 18th December 2025 leaving her nephew’s home 10am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Dungiven, interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
