BURNS (née McArdle) Matilda (Tilly), died 26th December 2025 peacefully at Avilla Nursing Home, Bessbrook. Matilda (Tilly) RIP late of 14 Moninna Villas, Camlough Road, Bessbrook. Wife of the late Jimmy and much-loved mother of Jim, John, Patrick, Kieran, Mark and the late Anne (Bradley). Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Her remains will repose in Charles Digney and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Sugarhouse Quay, Newry, BT35 6HZ on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm each day. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11am in St. Malachy’s Church, Carrickcruppen. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters-in-law Margaret, Majella, Carmel, Jacqui and Eilish; son-in-law Michael, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, family circle and friends.
