It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of DOHERTY (née Coyle) Frances, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 2nd January 2026. Late of 7 Brockagh Rd, Tamnaherin. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of Seamus. Devoted mother of Cahill and Leanne. Dearest mother-in-law of Stephen. Loving granny of Ethan, Dylan, Finlay, Riley, Lola and Lochlin. Precious daughter of Mary-Ellen and the late Don. A much loved sister of Damien, Ryan and the late Donald. A much loved sister-in-law, aunt and cousin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.

Frances’ remains are now reposing at her late home. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 5th January at 10:20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The wake house will be strictly private for family. Frances’ Requiem Mass can be viewed live via the link below.
